Robbery at hotel leads to Palolo woman's arrest

Advertiser Staff

A 19-year-old Palolo woman was arrested Tuesday in connection with a complaint filed by a 21-year-old man who said he was robbed at gunpoint in a Waikiki hotel early Saturday morning.

The man told police he befriended the woman and invited her back to his hotel room.

The woman eventually left the hotel but returned several hours later with three men, the complainant told police.

He said one of the people demanded money while one of the men pointed a gun at him. The three men and the woman left his room after he handed over some money.

Police identified the woman as a suspect of first-degree robbery and arrested her at the corner of Kalakaua and Kapahulu avenues.
