    Advertiser Staff

     • When Stricker wins, it's crying time again

Defending champion Lorens Chan will be joined by four Manoa Cup champions and many more of Hawai'i's finest amateurs in the Barbers Point Invitational, which starts this morning at Barbers Point Golf Course. The Championship Flight tees off from 11:30 a.m. today and 7 a.m. tomorrow. The final round is Saturday.

Chan, an 'Iolani sophomore, won by one shot over 2003 champ Matthew Ma last year. Ma is also back, along with Manoa Cup champions Brandan Kop, Jonathan Ota, Ryan Perez and TJ Kua. Layne Morita, who fell to Kua in this year's Cup final, is also in the field.
