HILO — A 24-year-old Waikoloa man was arrested yesterday in connection with a robbery in South Kohala.

Hawaii County police say Casey Leitch entered a store in the Kings Shops at 6:15 yesterday morning through a door that had been unlocked for deliveries.
Police say Leitch took liquor and other items. When a witness tried to follow Leitch as he left the store, police say Leitch pulled out a sharp object and threatened the witness.
Police say they found Leitch about 10:30 a.m. at the Queens Shops and arrested him after a foot chase.
