A man believed to be in his 70s died after he was found unresponsive in waters just off of Kaka'ako Waterfront Park this morning.

Surfers in the area pulled the man from the water around 9:40 a.m. and performed CPR until paramedics arrived.
The man was taken in critical condition to an area hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
No other details are yet available.
