A 32-year-old man was arrested yesterday in connection with an incident on Friday in which a woman reported her finger being bitten off.

The woman, 37, told police she was involved in a domestic argument with the man at their home on Lunalilo Street that escalated into a physical altercation, during which the man bit off her finger.
The man left the apartment before police arrive, but he turned himself in yesterday at the main police station on Beretania Street and was arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault.
