The employees of the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa raised $20,300 for Kapiçolani Children’s Miracle Network.

Employees in each of the hotel's departments sold a wide variety food items, including bentos, baked goods, spam musubi and boiled peanuts to raise the funds.
A ceremony is scheduled for Monday to present the check to Kapiçolani Children’s Miracle Network, the fundraising arm of Kapiolani Medical Center.
Waikiki Beach Marriott’s contribution is part of Marriott’s Spirit to Serve program, which works to foster goodwill in communities where Marriott International does business. In 2008, Marriott Resorts Hawaii employees, customers and partners gave more than $1.5 million to community and charity groups throughout the state.
