The state says there are now more than 700,000 business registration documents available online for purchase.

The documents can be downloaded through the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs' business registration Web page at http://hbe.ehawaii.gov/documents/search.html.

When the service was launched in the spring of 2008, 100,000 documents were available online for immediate purchase, with the remainder available within one to three business days.

Documents available today for immediate purchase include articles of incorporation, annual filings, partnership and limited liability company formation documents, and foreign statements of qualification.

The DCCA's online registration service is part of the Lingle administration's efforts to provide individuals and businesses with innovative and efficient online government services.

KAPI'OLANI MEDICAL CENTER GETS $20,300

Employees of the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa raised $20,300 for Kapi'olani Children's Miracle Network, the fundraising arm of Kapi'olani Medical Center.

Employees in each department sold a wide variety food items, including bento, baked goods, Spam musubi and boiled peanuts, to raise the funds.

A ceremony is scheduled for Monday at which Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort & Spa General Manager Chris Tatum and Director of Finance Salah Ihsan will present a check to Stacey Acma, director of Kapi'olani Children's Miracle Network.

Waikiki Beach Marriott's contribution is part of Marriott's Spirit to Serve program, which works to foster goodwill in communities where Marriott International does business.

In 2008, Marriott Resorts Hawaii employees, customers and partners gave more than $1.5 million to community and charity groups throughout the state.
