University of Hawai‘i senior outside hitter Aneli Cubi-Otineru was named Western Athletic Conference Volleyball Player of the Week, today.

She had 18 kills, 20 digs, five blocks and three service aces in back-to-back sweeps of Pepperdine last week. It is her first WAC weekly honor.
Also today, the Rainbow Wahine (9-2) remained at No. 4 in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association poll. Penn State is ranked at No. 1.
Hawai'i opens WAC play at home against Boise State and Idaho on Thursday and Saturday.
