An estimated 2,000 job seekers showed up in the first hour of a job fair today at the Neal Blaisdell Center.

Organizers of Job Quest said the doors were opened 10 minutes before the scheduled 10 a.m. start because of the crowd.
A total of 130 employers are on hand, representing everything from the finance, health and retail fields to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
The job fair continues until 3 p.m.
A seminar entitled “Selling Yourself in an Interview” will be offered at 1 p.m.
