Utility work on School Street begins tomorrow

Advertiser Staff

Hawaiian Electric crews are scheduled to perform utility work on School Street beginning tomorrow and running through Oct. 7.

Crews will begin near the intersection of School and Liliha streets.
Work will progress along School Street to the Kamehameha Shopping Center and Likelike Highway intersection. The construction area will span several poles and will move down the street as sections of work are completed.
For the safety of the public and work crews, during work hours two west-bound lanes of School Street will be closed in the work area.
Parking will not be allowed on either side of the street in the construction area. Work is scheduled to take place between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Hawaiian Electric will be using traffic-control measures and special-duty police officers through and around the construction area.
