Man suffers from apparent electrical shock, fall at store

Advertiser Staff

The city's emergency medical services personnel responded to a call about a possible electrical shock at 11:33 a.m. yesterday at the Salt Lake Kmart store.

Paramedics arrived to find a man who appeared to be in his 50s who was conscious and responsive. It appeared the man had injuries that were consistent with a mild electric shock, as well as fall from approximately 10 feet, said Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the Honolulu Emergency Services Department.

Paramedics treated and stabilized the male patient and took him to a hospital in stable condition, Cheplic said.
