NFL: Eagles' McNabb doubtful vs. Chiefs

Associated Press

PHILADELPHIA — Donovan McNabb is doubtful to play Sunday when the Philadelphia Eagles host Kansas City because of a broken rib.

Kevin Kolb will make his second straight start for the Eagles if McNabb can't go. Jeff Garcia could be the backup, though Michael Vick will play.

McNabb, injured in the season opener at Carolina, missed last Sunday's 48-22 loss to New Orleans. Kolb made his first NFL start, throwing for 391 yards, two touchdowns and three interceptions.

Joining McNabb on the sideline might be running back Brian Westbrook (ankle). Westbrook didn't practice this week and is questionable.

Vick is eligible to play for the first time after serving a two-game suspension as the final league penalty for his role in running a dogfighting ring.
