Community groups from Central O'ahu will gather at Dole Plantation’s Family Fun Day today to get the pineapple experience and raise money for area schools and organizations.

Admission to Dole Plantation is free and the event features live music and hula, arts, crafts and prize giveaways. But don’t leave your wallet at home. Volunteers from Helemano Elementary, Waialua High and various community groups will be raising money with nominally priced keiki games, food booths and other activities.
In addition, some of the venue’s special attractions, such as the World’s Largest Maze and the Plantation Garden Tour, will offer buy-one-get-one-free admission, and ticket prices will be reduced for the Pineapple Express Train Tour.
The event runs 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Dole Plantation in Wahiawä. For more information, call 220-4981 or visit www.DolePlantation.com.
