Boys & Girls Club tech lab renovated

Rotary Club of Windward O'ahu worked to remodel the computer lab at the Kailua Boys and Girls Club yesterday. Rotarians sound-proofed doors and windows in the computer lab, which shares a wall with Kailua Intermediate School's wood shop. JA Entrepreneur pilot program at HCC

Bank of Hawaii senior vice presidents Danny Kim and Kevin Sakamoto are helping Junior Achievement Hawaii pilot its "JA Be Entrepreneurial" Program in partnership with Honolulu Community College's Construction Academy. UH-Manoa launches science kit lending

The National Science Foundation Center of Microbial Oceanography: Research and Education at the University of Hawai'i-Manoa will lend science kits to school teachers that will help them integrate oceanography content and technologies into their curriculum without requiring training. C-MORE Science kits are aligned with both Hawaii Content and Performance Standards and the national Ocean Literacy Principles and cover topics such as ocean acidification, coral bleaching, and marine debris.
