The Maui Ocean Center's Turtle Lagoon has new additions — hatchling sea turtles — and so the aquarium is giving away personal sea turtle encounters and bragging rights to five entrants who submit the best Hawaiian names.

Ocean Center judges will designate winners; in case of duplicate entries, the first to arrive will win. Only one name per entry per person is permitted.

To enter, mail the Hawaiian names and their definitions to Maui Ocean Center, 192 Ma'alaea Road, Wailuku HI, 96793, attention: "Name a Baby Sea Turtle Contest," or e-mail entries to karicayos@mauioceancenter.com. Include your name, phone number, and/or e-mail address with your entry. Winners will be notified by Nov. 1.

CLEAN UP, BUT WITHOUT POLLUTING

Made from plant- and vegetable-derived cleaning agents, True Green cleaning products are hypoallergenic and contain no brighteners, dyes, parabens or artificial fragrances. Detergents are concentrated, so a little works a lot, and are made with coconut-based nonionic surfactants. The line includes laundry detergent, washing and dryer balls; fabric softener; dryer sheets; dish and hand soap; and more.
