Residents are invited to become a member of 'Ahahui Malama i ka Lokahi and hear a geology lecture about Windward O'ahu at the organization's general membership meeting at 6 p.m. Friday at Windward Community College, Hale Akoakoa Room 105.

Floyd McCoy, WCC geology professor, will give the lecture that night and on a field trip the following day.

McCoy will lead a geology tour to explain how the Windward side was formed, the dike formations and the storied rock formation at Na Pohaku o Hauwahine from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
