Smith Morimoto and Teruyo Morimoto , of Kapolei, have died. He was 93, died June 7, 2009, and was born in Portland, Ore. She was 94, died Jan. 25, 2009, and was formerly of Seattle. Survived by sons, Roger, Dale and Lyle; daughters, Carolyn Kawamata and Deloris Tatebe; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; his sisters, Kazuko Kirihara, Ruth Kawamoto and Mary Kanemasu; her sister, Akiko Kinomoto. Dorothy Fumie Motoyama, 71, of Honolulu, died Sept. 24, 2009. Born in Honolulu. Assistant professor for the University of Hawai'i-Manoa, School of Nursing; also retired Kuakini Medical Center director of Nursing Education Services and a consultant in Nursing and Staff Development.
