Hawaii teams go 3-1 at PacWest Tennis Championships

Three of Hawai'i's Division II women's tennis teams won their matches at today's quarterfinals of the PacWest Championships in Glendale, Ariz.

Defending champion and top-seeded Brigham Young-Hawai'i (24-0) beat No. 8 Dominican (Calif.), 6-0. No. 2 Hawai'i Pacific beat No. 7 Academy of Art, 5-0 and No. 3 Chaminade beat No. 6 Hawai'i Hilo, 5-1.

BYUH plays No. 5 Dixie State (8-8) in tomorrow's semifinals while Hawai'i Pacific (16-2) plays Chaminade (10-9). UH Hilo (3-19) plays Academy of Art (8-13) in a consolation match.
