Radford teachers get deferred sentences on prostitution charge

Advertiser Staff

Two Radford High School teachers received six-month deferred sentences Thursday after pleading no contest to soliciting prostitutes last year in downtown Honolulu.

If Albert Hetrick, 37, and Jacob Sur, 26, stay out of trouble with the law for six months, the misdemeanor criminal cases against them will be dismissed.

Both men are teachers and assistant athletics coaches at Radford.

They were arrested during a police undercover operation while downtown attending a fund raiser for Honolulu high school sports programs.

Each man, plus a third defendant charged in the case, was ordered to pay a $500 fine.
