Farrington's Fehoko narrows choices to Hawaii, Utah

Advertiser Staff

Farrington High School senior VJ Fehoko said this afternoon he has narrowed his college football scholarship offers to Hawaii and Utah.

Fehoko (5 feet 11 and 225 pounds) is projected by both schools to play linebacker. He told The Advertiser he will study the two options tonight and tomorrow and announce his decision during Wednesday morning's Signing Day ceremony at the Sheraton Waikiki. He said he visited UH this past weekend and Utah the week before, and also took recruiting trips to Washington, Texas Tech and Stanford (unofficial visit).
Fehoko, a two-time Advertiser All-State defensive lineman, said he turned down offers to visit Oklahoma, Notre Dame and Baylor.
