Michael McDonald, Boz Scaggs to play Waikiki Shell

Grammy Award winning musicians Michael McDonald and Boz Scaggs are coming to Hawai‘i to play the Waikiki Shell March 11 and at Maui Arts & Cultural Center Events Lawn March 12.

Tickets go on sale Saturday morning at all ticketmaster locations, 800-745-3000 for the Waikiki Shell show and 242-SHOW or Mauiarts.org for the Maui show.
McDonald is a five-time Grammy Award winner and former member of the Doobie Brothers and Steely Dan. His hits include “Takin’ It to the Streets,” “Minute by Minute,” and the No.1 single “What a Fool Believes.”
Scaggs started his career as a member of the Steve Miller Band, but later gained considerable success as a solo artist in the 1970’s. In 1976, Boz Scaggs released ‘Silk Degrees”
which became one of the landmark pop albums of the decade selling more than four million copies. ‘Silk Degrees’ hit number 2 on the Billboard charts and featured the hit songs “Georgia,” ‘What Can I Say,” “Lido Shuffle,” and the Grammy Award winning song “Low Down.”
Tickets for the O‘ahu show are $30, $45, $65,$85 and $125. Maui show prices are $45, $65, $85 and $125.
