A 28-year-old Halawa Heights woman was arrested yesterday in connection with an injury to a 9-year-old girl, described as a family member, that occurred about 3 p.m. Friday.

The girl told police the woman assaulted her.
When the girl was taken to a doctor following the incident, it was determined she had a fractured left arm, police said.
The woman was located yesterday and arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault.
