Cerro Negro to perform at Atherton

The world music group Cerro Negro returns to Hawaii this week for two performances.
Friday night: Cerro Negro presents a myriad of earthy styles including Peruvian, Balkan, Turkish, Brazilian Bossa Novas and gypsy music and classic world dance music.
Saturday night: Cerro Negro teams up with Ryan Feldthouse to create the group La Caravana, a celebration of the Gypsy spirit and their music.
Showtime for both performances is 7:30 p.m. in Hawaii Public Radio's Atherton Studio, 738 Kaheka St.
