Akaka bill to be debated Wednesday at UH law school

Ilya Shapiro, editor-in-chief of the Cato Supreme Court Review, and University of Hawaii-Manoa law professor Jon Van Dyke will debate the Akaka bill Wednesday at the UH law school.

The debate is scheduled for 4 to 6 p.m. in Classroom 4.
Shapiro and Van Dyke will discuss the status of the Akaka bill under President Obama and what enactment will mean for Native Hawaiians.
The event is being put on by the Federalist Society Hawaii Student Chapter.
