Mutual Publishing in Honolulu has announced the launch of a new division, SCRIPTA, which will offer self-publishing services to authors wishing to place books in private circulation or aoivd the delays of manuscript submission.

Under SCRIPTA contracts, the author submits the manuscript, which, for a fee, Mutual then copy-edits for style, grammar and punctuation before designging and print the book and binding it. Books are shipped to the author for distribution, promotion and marketing.
