Kailua Elementary to hold imu fundraiser

Advertiser Staff

Kailua Elementary School next month will hold an imu fundraiser for its fourth-grade Big Island trip.

For a $15 fee, people can have their turkeys or other foods cooked in the earth oven. Customers must drop off their food items from 3 to 4:30 p.m. March 12 and pick them up the next day from 8 to 9:30 a.m.
Food should be thawed and seasoned, and placed in a roasting tray wrapped securely in foil. Make three deep cuts in each piece of meat. One turkey per tray is permitted, and there is a 25-pound limit per tray.
The deadline to order is March 4. Send checks, payable to Kailua Elementary School, to the school at 315 Kuçulei Road, Kailua, HI 96734. Write IMU on the envelope. Include a stamped, self-addressed envelope and your phone number.
For more information, call Todd Hendricks at 728-7389.
