Lack of safety sticker leads to car-theft arrest

Advertiser Staff

A 47-year-old Nanakuli man was arrested this morning after police found him driving a vehicle that had been reported stolen.

Police said officers became suspicious when they noticed the vehicle did not have a safety sticker or registration tax decal.
Officers stopped the car on Farrington Highway, learned that it had been reported stolen, and arrested the driver on suspicion of unauthorized control of a propelled vehicle.
