Scholarships available for Hawaii high school students

Applications are being accepted from public high school students on Oahu for $1,000 scholarships renewable annually for up to $4,000 toward their college education.

Hawaii Self Storage is offering 12 scholarships to students in high schools near its five locations: Salt Lake, Pearl City, Kaimuki, Mililani and Kapolei.
To qualify for the scholarship, students must be graduating seniors from one of the following public high schools: Aiea, Farrington, Pearl City, Kaimuki, Kalani, Kapolei, Mililani, Moanalua, Radford, Waipahu, McKinley and Leilehua. Students also must be Hawaii residents formally accepted into or enrolled in a recognized degree program at an accredited two- or four-year institution of higher education and be enrolled full time with a minimum of 12 credits per semester or the minimum number of credits required by the degree program to apply. To renew the scholarship, students must maintain a cumulative minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 each year.
