Kane'ohe native Dean Wilson shot an even-par 70 today to finish 43rd in the final round of the Sony Open in Hawai'i at Waialae Country Club.

Wilson, the only player with Hawai'i ties to reach the final round, finished tied for 43rd at 3-under 277. Ryan Palmer shot a 66 for a one-stroke victory over Robert Allenby (67) at 15-under 265.

Wilson, who pocketed $19,250, had two bogeys (Nos. 2 and 12) and two birdies (Nos. 9 and 10) today. He shot 71-67-69 in his previous rounds.

Wilson, a long-time PGA Tour member, lost his PGA's player's card this season and played on a sponsor's exemption.

Hilo's Kevin Hayashi, who missed the cut for the final round, finished 80th and earned $9,900.
