Warrior volleyball team stops Pacific in four sets

Jonas Umlauft had 21 kills and Joshua Walker added 17 to lead No. 9 Hawai‘i to a 27-30, 33-31, 30-25, 30-22 victory over Pacific in Mountain Pacific Sports Federation men’s volleyball tonight in Stockton, Calif.

The Warriors are 3-3 overall and 1-2 in the MPSF. The Tigers are 4-3 and 0-3.
Matt Rawson had 10 kills and eight blocks for UH.
The Warriors got off to a slow start with seven of their 13 service errors in the first set, while Pacific hit .429 to UH’s .237.
Sean Daley and Florian Gornik each had 23 kills for Pacific.
The two teams will play again tomorrow night.
