Free financial aid form help

Advertiser Staff

High school seniors applying for federal financial aid for college can get line-by-line help with the application form at five locations on Oahu during College Goal Sunday.

Part of a national effort, several local nonprofits are offering free assistance to Hawaii’s college-bound seniors and their parents who are filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), from 1 p.m. Sunday in the McKinley High School auditorium; the cafeterias at Mililani High School, Waianae High School and Waipahu High School; and in Hale Akoakoa 105 at Windward Community College.
No appointments are necessary, but bring 2009 IRS tax returns, W-2 forms (for the student and the parents of students under 24) or other 2009 income and benefit information.
