Despite closing with a championship flourish in the final month, the University of Hawai'i finished sixth in the Western Athletic Conference Commissioner's Cup standings for 2009-'10.

Boise State won the annual competition among the nine WAC members which measures performance in 19 men's and women's sports over the school year. Points are awarded in the order of finish in the standings.

The Broncos won five team titles.

UH, which competes in 15 WAC sports, won championships in softball, baseball and men's tennis in May, and also took the volleyball title.

UH has yet to win the Cup in the eight-year history of the competition and has never finished higher than third. UH was seventh in 2008-09.

It was the second time Boise State has won the Cup.
