If your faithful canine companion is in need of a little exercise — or you are, for that matter — check out tomorrow morning's sixth annual Hawai'i Kai Dog Walk.

The paws will hit the pavement at 7:30 a.m., with registration getting under way at 6:30 a.m. in the Hawai'i Kai Park and Ride lot. Fee: $20, with routes ranging from a 3-mile trek to a shorter mini-route for older dogs.

The Hui 'Ilio worked for years to get a "bark park" in their neighborhood and now use this fundraiser to assist with cleanup projects, park improvements and training "park rangers." Free shirts, goodie bags and photos will be offered while supplies last. For more information, visit www.hui-ilio.org.
