High surf advisory remains in effect for all islands

Advertiser Staff

High surf warnings or advisories are in effect for all Hawai'i islands until early tomorrow. Surf could rangefrom 12 to 25 feet.

The high surf warning is in effect for the north- and west-facing shores of O'ahu, Kaua'i, Ni'ihau and Molokai and north-facing shores of Maui.

The high surf advisory applies only to west-facing shores of the Big Island.

A large swell produced by a powerful storm northwest of Hawai'i several days ago is causing the high surf.

The warnings remain in effect until 6 a.m. tomorrow.
