Advertiser Staff

Booking are up for Norwegian Cruise Line — including the Hawaiçi-based ship, Pride of America, according to the Miami-based company.

Officials cited “an unprecedented year-to-date increase in booking volume” during its promotion in January and February. In addition, group business was up close to twofold.
Because of this demand, prices are set to increase fleet wide up to 7 percent as of April 2, 2010.
“As we move out of wave season, consumers and travel partners can expect to see our prices rise across the fleet,” said Kevin Sheehan, Norwegian Cruise Line chief executive officer. especially for our new, highly anticipated ship Norwegian Epic.”
The company once had three ships based in Hawaiçi but cut back to one after the demand and price dropped.
