Former University of Hawai'i men's basketball coach Bob Nash still has a desire to coach, and harbors no bitter feelings after being terminated on Monday.

Nash granted The Advertiser an exclusive interview yesterday at his home.

"I think coaching will always be in my blood," said Nash, who led the Rainbow Warriors to a 34-56 record during his three years as head coach, including 10-20 this season.

His termination ended a 31-year relationship with the UH basketball program, from starring on the famous "Fab Five" squad to coach.

"I'm never going to harbor any ill will for this decision," he said. "It was made in the best interest of the university."
