Mid-Pacific powers past Punahou, 10-6

Keiki Carlos hit two home runs and Kaydi Kochi drove in three runs as host Mid-Pacific broke a 3-3 tie by scoring six runs in the fourth inning to beat Punahou, 10-6, yesterday in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu softball game.

Tasi Docktor, Kacy Aoki and Kochi had two hits apiece for Mid-Pacific.

Reina Furuya went 2 for 4 with two RBIs for Punahou.

Keanu Au's run-scoring, pinch-hit double in the bottom of the sixth inning broke a 2-2 tie and lifted the host Warriors (4-0) over the Troubadours (1-3). Reyna Ae went 3 for 3 and Marche Llanos 2 for 3 in support of winning pitcher Jamie Millwood.

Kim Souza blasted two of the Raiders' five home runs and 'Iolani had 26 hits in a victory over the Lancers at Crane Park.

'Iolani's Kirstyn Namba hit a grand slam, Kaleen Terayama hit a three-run homer and had six RBIs and Marissa Terayama had a solo shot.
