Stalker confined to mental hospital

A judge is sending a man arrested outside a school attended by Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck's daughter to a state mental hospital.
Los Angeles County District Attorney's spokeswoman Jane Robison said Steven Burky pleaded no contest yesterday to two counts of stalking the couple and their children.
Robison said a judge found the 37-year-old not guilty of the offenses by reason of insanity after a hearing. Burky was ordered to stay away from Garner, Affleck and their family for 10 years if he is released.
FORMER NANNY SLAMS MCCARTNEY'S EX
Heather Mills, the ex-wife of Paul McCartney, defended herself from accusations made by a former nanny at an employment tribunal in Britain yesterday.
Sara Trumble, 26, said Mills was a rude, angry and dishonest woman who forced her to lie to McCartney.
But Mills said yesterday she treated Trumble like a daughter, showering her with gifts and foreign travel.
Trumble is suing Mills for allegedly stripping her of her childcare duties after she gave birth to her own baby girl.
PALIN SHOW DEBUTS ON FOX TOMORROW
Sarah Palin's media domination continues this week with the debut tomorrow of "Real American Stories," a new series on Fox News hosted by the former Alaska governor about people with "real-life tales of overcoming adversity."
The first installment will feature stories about a Marine who died to save his fellow Marines, and a stock broker who helps underprivileged students pay for college.
STREISAND WILL TOUT HER BOOK AT EXPO
Barbra Streisand will appear at the opening-night keynote reception for BookExpo America to promote "My Passion for Design."
The book world's annual national convention will be May 25 to 27 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City.
"My Passion for Design" reveals the taste and style that have inspired the singer's homes and collections. It will be Streisand's first appearance on behalf of her book, to be published Nov. 16 by Viking.
MADONNA PARTNERS WITH DAUGHTER
Madonna has teamed up with her 13-year-old daughter, Lourdes, to create Material Girl, an affordable juniors' clothing line that debuts at Macy's this fall.
In 2007, Madonna worked with H&M to create a limited edition collection, M by Madonna. This time around she has launched a new company called MG ICON which, in addition to producing the juniors' line, will also put out other collections.
