UH Baseball: Linsky available to pitch tomorrow

Although not completely healthy, Hawai'i closer Lenny Linsky will be available to pitch in tomorrow's Western Athletic Conference tournament opener against Louisiana Tech in Mesa, Ariz.

The right-handed Linsky bruised his pitching hand after taking a line single off it Saturday at San Jose State in the ninth inning. He did retire the next three batters to earn his 11th save.

"Nobody's taking his place," UH coach Mike Trapasso said after today's workout. "He's going to go out and pitch if not at a hundred percent. I'll still take Linsky at 80 percent than a lot of people."

The Rainbows and Bulldogs play at 1 p.m. HST, tomorrow.
