Flying, He went to Sea Mountain sub division and got a pretty nice house at a pretty good price. The deal as I saw it advertised was almost too good to be true. (And maybe it was) It is not as bad as the "Projects or Housing" areas in Honolulu, but anywhere you have kids living, you will have some sort of distraction.

R2Dodo, tends to embellish on the stary a little to justify his whining. Might be a brat in the neighborhood but to R2dodo, it will be a gang of kids roaming, throwing stones and shooting pellet guns.

But that's just him.

Where're the police?

If I were an officer on this island, I wouldn't go around looking for trouble unless you made me. I would have enough problems trying to get overtime in, since the new chief changed the work week.

We don't pay our police enough, we don't have enough of them on the job, yet we expect them to do everything.

We have too many vacancies in HPD. Why can't they recruit enough police officers? Or is the City and County not filling the positions to save money? I never see police on the highways or patrolling anymore.

Mufi picked him, Mufi put him in there, and in a press conference when asked about the absentee Chief of Police, Mufi said he was trying to get a hold of him.

Good job, Mayor. Once you conquer the complex job of patching potholes, maybe you can crack down on criminals and get HPD back on track.

hahe reminds me of when we lived in Punaluu, this kid comes over from behind our house, and says if I don't give him some of the coconut I'm opening, his father will come over and beat us up, or something like that. One of my younger sisters says something like, "Bring him on over, we'll shoot him with the gun, and bring the rest of your family over, we'll shoot them too" LOL it was great. We had a .22 rifle in a closet somewhere.

Yes I'm extremely pro 2nd amendment.

Although in retrospect, the kid (about 7 in this case too) may just have not been good at communicating, and if I'd given him half the coconut, our families could have ended up being good friends. As it was, we were on speaking terms but that was about it.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

The little 7 year old boy will grow up to be worthless like his parents because they don't have a clue about teaching the kid manners.

I had a 6 year old come up to our house and ask for money. When we told him to keep moving, he said he could come back anytime and take whatever he wants.

Long story short, he wound up getting lickings from his father. It takes a village, and some discipline.

That's right -- 6 years old. Do you think that kid will wind up in a) Harvard, b) UH, c) OCCC, or d) the beach in front of Yuen's grocery store? Hopefully, the parents will keep an eye on him and not let him patrol the streets.

Hey Gent -- I don't live in the haole part of Maili. Did anybody ever tell you you're childish?

I hope the mods trace your ISP and just ban you from the new board right at the get-go. It's only fun to listen to a stupid person just for a little while. For you, TIME'S UP!!
