| In May 1968, a couple of hundred students held a sit-in at Bachman Hall at the University of Hawai'i-Manoa to protest a Board of Regents decision to withdraw its offer of tenure to Dr. Oliver Lee because of his role as faculty adviser to an anti-war student group. |
