Jim Kelly is the Editorial Page Editor of The Honolulu Advertiser. He has overall responsibility for the content of the newspaper's opinion pages in print and online. For the past five years, Kelly served as editor of the Pacific Business News. He had previously worked as a senior newsroom manager at The Advertiser. Kelly moved to Hawaii in 1997 after working as a reporter and editor at newspapers in Massachusetts and Minnesota. A native of St. Paul, Minn., Kelly is a 1982 graduate of the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, where he received a bachelor's degree in journalism.
