I'd like to say aloha to my family back in Hawai'i: Amy, Tyler and Kassidy. I love you and miss you very much. I am doing well here in Kirkuk and can't wait to be back on the island. We're doing lots of good things over here, and I'm meeting a lot of good people. Good things are happening every day amongst the reports of bad that you hear. All the troops are representing the 25th ID in Hawai'i in stellar fashion, and you should be proud of them. This one is for Michael, whose life was cut short on 9/11 at the World Trade Center. Aloha.
