Hello to all my friends in Hawai'i and family in Washington. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. I'm in northeastern Iraq working with the Iraqi Border Patrol, a small group of former soldiers who are sacrificing their time and pay to keep Iraq safe. I'm grateful to have the chance to help these people succeed. Coming to Iraq, I never thought I'd be driving through grassy fields and snowcapped mountains.
