To the wives and family members of all the deployed soldiers back in Hawai‘i or wherever they are, I greatly appreciate the support to their soldiers and my soldiers. A special thank you to my wife, Joan; lots of love. Also, hello to my Sunday golfing group. I’ll expect strokes when I return. The men’s spirits and motivation are still high. They are some great Americans, and some of the best I’ve served with in 25 years.
