To my dearest wife, Kelly, and my lovely daughter, Michaela, I miss you. I’m always thinking of you, and I’ll be home soon. My daughter is turning 1 on the 20th of April — a happy first birthday. I wish I was there. I hope by the time I get home, you are running around, because I know that you are walking like a duke now. Kelly, stay strong, stay busy, live life, don’t worry about me. I am fine and will return in one piece to the family I love so dear. I am in Kirkuk, where the Bible states time began. I can still see the Big Dipper. How about you? When I look at it, I’m always thinking of you. I love you, I miss you. Hugs and kisses.
