I just want to say hi to my parents in Los Angeles and to my wife and daughter in the Philippines. I’m OK here in Afghanistan. I miss you guys out there. Hopefully soon we’re going to get together as before. We’ve been treated fair and balanced. We have food 24 hours a day and a small PX. I think everything’s OK for me here. The only thing I don’t like is the dust. I’d like to say hello to my old unit, the 71st Chemical Company at Schofield Barracks, especially 4th Platoon.

Age 27; Los Angeles; nuclear-biological-chemical specialist, Company C, 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, in Afghanistan
