Age 37, Mililani, radio telephone operator with Company D, 2nd Battalion, 299th Infantry, Hawaiçi Army National Guard. Civilian job: K9 handler for Customs and Border Protection.

To my wife, Denise, and my little girl, Serena — I miss them, and I can’t wait to be home to be back with them. Working these long hours is like back home when I worked long hours. The culture is totally different in Iraq. To see what these people go through, it makes you appreciate what we have back home. Take nothing for granted. Tell my mom and dad and my whole family back home that I miss them also.
