FROM: Sgt. 1st Class Oscar Alvarez
Age 43, Aliamanu Military Reservation, 100th Battalion, 442nd Infantry Regiment, motor sergeant. Civilian job: Works full-time for the Reserves.

I want to say hello to my wife, Tracy Wailani, my daughter, Kealoha, and my six sons, Damien, Oscar Jr., Dallas, John-John, Joshua and Kuyler. I love you very much. I’m here with Task Force Konohiki helping train the Iraqi army. Iraq needs help, and our young people should get more involved. We’re having a hard time recruiting, and we need to win the fight against terrorism.
