More waiting for eager crew By Jan TenBruggencate We were up at 5:30 a.m. to meet Capt. Nainoa Thompson on a cliff at the Princeville Resort, where there was a wide view over the north Pacific. It was dead calm, with an occasional puff of cool air off the mountains. The conditions were not yet ready for sailing, Thompson said. The crew climbed back into trucks and returned to Hanalei Bay to wait.
